Verso collaborated with the R8 Games team to design the UI experience for Formula Fusion, a high-speed racing game. Our goal was to refresh the game’s visual identity while enhancing usability and readability for console players.

Solution

We focused on integrating the UI seamlessly into the game’s world, ensuring it felt like a natural extension of the immersive racing experience rather than disconnected floating elements. This approach strengthened the overall narrative and player engagement.

Additionally, Formula Fusion features artwork by Ian Anderson and his studio, Designers Republic, known for their iconic contributions to futuristic gaming aesthetics. Our UI design complemented this visual direction, creating a cohesive and dynamic interface that elevated both form and function.
