Background

Viking Ocean needed an intuitive and visually cohesive onboard kiosk system as part of their 2020 technology roadmap. We designed interactive, static, and wayfinding kiosks that seamlessly integrated with the ship’s interior design while delivering essential information such as weather, stocks, port details, and restaurant availability. 

Solution

Prioritizing usability, we crafted a UI that was large enough to be seen from a distance, simple to navigate, and aligned with Viking’s modern aesthetic.

Results & Impact

This design was developed in parallel with the in-room ITV system and the mobile Voyager app, ensuring a consistent and connected experience for travelers both on and off the ship.
